Position Summary

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Content Quality Assurance team in the heart of Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality, detail‐oriented, and eager to contribute to the delivery of exceptional gaming experiences. Working closely with developers and guided by experienced Senior Engineers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our games meet the highest standards before release. From system‐level testing through to launch readiness, you’ll be hands‐on in validating performance, functionality, and overall player experience.

As part of the Content QA team, you’ll help drive the successful release of games into User Acceptance Testing across both UK and international markets. You’ll also support the submission process to external test houses, ensuring compliance and regulatory standards are met. This is a fast‐paced, collaborative environment suited to someone who thrives in a busy team, takes pride in their work, and is motivated to deliver high‐quality results. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases, reporting defects to the developer for a fix to be applied.
  • Perform regression testing when defects are fixed.
  • Reproducing issues reported from the field.
  • Setup and maintenance of test environments.
  • Provide daily updates to Content QA Manager on testing progress.
  • Participate in exploratory game play sessions, identify test scenarios, and write new test cases when required.
  • Ensure software releases conform to defined game standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • ISTQB certified would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience working within the games industry is desirable but not essential.
