About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work within a creative, multidisciplinary team alongside graphic artists and game designers to develop high-quality video game software for the global gaming market. You’ll be responsible for producing clean, efficient, and well-structured code while contributing to the overall output of the software team. In addition, you will support and mentor junior engineers, playing an important role in the creation of market-leading gaming titles. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong Unity skills, solid programming foundations, and a passion for building engaging, high-performing game experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality game content in line with project goals and team standards
- Develop software following established coding standards, release processes, and best practices
- Work to a self-managed project plan to ensure timely delivery of software components
- Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and maintaining quality across the codebase
- Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other engineers to bring game features to life
Essential:
- Strong programming knowledge and solid mathematical competence
- Commercial experience developing games using the Unity game engine
- Proficiency in C#
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to mentor junior engineers
