Position Summary

As a Game Mathematician, you will play a central role in shaping the player experience by designing the mathematical models that underpin our games. You’ll transform complex theory into engaging gameplay, working closely with designers and developers to create balanced, high-performing, and captivating gaming experiences for global markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to early-stage game concepts, helping define mechanics and player experience
  • Develop mathematical models using simulation tools, programming, and spreadsheet analysis
  • Design and analyse key game metrics such as RTP, volatility, and payout structures
  • Collaborate closely with developers and designers to bring game concepts to life
  • Ensure mathematical models meet regulatory requirements across EMEA markets
  • Continuously refine and optimise game performance to deliver engaging player experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience developing mathematical models, ideally within gaming or iGaming
  • Strong programming skills (C++ preferred; C# or similar languages also considered)
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis capability
  • A passion for gaming and understanding of player-focused design principles
  • Around 1+ year of experience in slot mathematics or a related field
  • Experience within the casino or gambling industry
  • Creative thinking combined with strong technical design instincts
  • A track record of contributing to successful game mechanics

Qualifications

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
