Position Summary

We’re looking for creative thinkers, problem solvers, and people who want to challenge the status quo — all while staying true to our core values:

  • Dare to be Bold – We have the courage to reach for the unbelievable.
  • Uphold Integrity – Accountability and respect guide everything we do.
  • Never Settle – We push forward relentlessly, striving for extraordinary.
  • Celebrate Perspectives – We embrace diverse talent and new ways of seeing the world.
  • Win as a Team – We support, challenge, and bring out the best in each other.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on key initiatives to transform how our Accounts Receivable function operates, with a strong focus on improving our invoicing processes. You’ll guide projects from concept to completion, analysing how things work today, identifying opportunities to streamline, and designing smarter, more effective workflows.

You’ll work closely with teams across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and IT to understand their needs, build alignment, and ensure improvements land well across the organisation. As a champion for change, you’ll communicate updates clearly, support colleagues as new processes are introduced, and help build confidence in new ways of working.

Using data and key performance measures, you’ll track the impact of your work and regularly share progress with leaders making sure improvements are both measurable and meaningful. You’ll also be responsible for identifying potential risks along the way and ensuring all changes remain compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

A big part of your success will come from fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and keeping processes evolving long after the initial project is complete. Throughout, you’ll maintain clear, thorough documentation to support transparency and consistency across the function.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience applying process‐improvement methodologies within a finance environment.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and confidence working with data tools like Excel or Incorta.
  • A proven track record delivering successful process‐improvement projects within Accounts Receivable, ideally in a large organisation.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver to timelines and budget.
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to interpret data and use it to drive decision‐making.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder‐management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast‐moving, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, problem‐solving mindset and a passion for delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Project Management or Six Sigma qualifications are a plus.

Work Conditions:

  • Flexible Working Hours: Enjoy the freedom to shape your schedule around our core hours, supporting a healthy work–life balance.
  • Hybrid Working Model: Benefit from a blend of collaboration and flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week.
  • Generous Annual Leave: Take time to recharge with 33 days of holiday, including bank holidays.

What we can offer you:

  • Generous Pension Support: We’ll match your contributions with up to 8% employer pension, helping you build a secure future.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Be rewarded for your impact with our discretionary yearly bonus scheme.
  • Give Back with Purpose: Enjoy 1 paid day each year to work on a charitable project.
  • Celebrate Your Special Moments: Take 1 paid day to celebrate something personal — like your birthday or another meaningful occasion.
  • Half Day for Health: A dedicated half‐day just for you — to rest, reset, or prioritise your wellbeing.
  • Lifestyle & Savings Perks: Access our reward platform offering cycle‐to‐work, plus great shopping and lifestyle discounts and cashback.
  • Comprehensive Wellbeing Cover: Benefit from Private Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Aviva DigiCare for everyday health support.
  • Employee Assistance Programme: Confidential help whenever you need it, supporting your emotional and practical wellbeing.
  • Optional Extras: Tailor your benefits with options like Tastecard, Give As You Earn, and a Travel Ticket Loan.

Please note that this role is based in our Manchester office and you will be expected to attend the office at least 3 days a week.

Please note, we are unable to sponsor visas at this time. If you require visa sponsorship now or in the future we will not be able to progress with your application.

This job description should not be interpreted as all-inclusive; it is intended to identify major responsibilities and requirements of the job. The employee in this position may be requested to perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities than those stated above.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of end‐to‐end improvement projects, partnering closely with finance and cross‐functional teams to diagnose challenges, design smarter workflows, and deliver sustainable change.
