As Corporate Tax Manager your duties will, primarily, be two-fold:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of interesting corporate tax clients.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to a small team of enthusiastic trainees/junior staff members.

Specifically, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage a suite of corporate tax clients across the region, ensuring timely delivery of corporate tax compliance and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Manage and control all aspects of assignments for clients, ensuring appropriate resources are aligned to each client and that deliverables can be met within budget and reasonable timescales.
  • Develop your expertise and undertake advanced tax research to offer a 'best in class' service to your clients.
  • Effectively line manage your team members, making effective business decisions in relation to the management and development of your team as appropriate.
  • Offer support to Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you will be a qualified professional, either via an accountancy and/or tax route, and have a proven track record in the delivery of corporate tax compliance. Skilled at working with a variety of stakeholders within and outside your function, you'll be able to communicate complex ideas and initiatives with clarity and bring people 'on the journey'. An inspiring individual, you'll readily assume the role of mentor to your support staff and enjoy coaching your team to be better tax professionals.
