- The Senior BDR role
- Owning the top of the funnel by generating and qualifying pipeline for our sales team.
- Running outbound prospecting—email, Linked In, cold calling—to engage decision-makers in target industries (asset-light, multinational companies).
- Booking high-quality meetings with finance leaders and C-suite executives, understanding their needs and positioning Light's value.
- Developing personalized outreach strategies and messaging to break into target accounts.
- Collaborating closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and pipeline efficiency.
- Tracking and optimizing outreach efforts, using tools like Salesloft, Hub Spot, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Working with your AE to support on sales cycles to build your end-to-end sales cycle experience - we don't want you to be a BDR forever.
- How you fit into the team
Your mission is to help prospects see the light. This is a full-cycle BDR role, meaning you'll drive outbound prospecting while working closely with AEs to build pipeline.
You'll work alongside a small but stellar team that deeply understands the market and has done this before.
- Your qualifications could be
- Past Audit/Accounting experience is REQUIRED, any amount of Audit/Accounting experience is acceptable to apply
- 2-4 years of outbound sales or BDR experience in a high-growth Saa S or fintech environment.
- A proven track record of booking meetings and generating pipeline that converts into revenue.
- Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and persuasive in writing, on calls, and in person.
- A hunter mentality: you're proactive, resilient, and energized by outreach.
- Strong organization and attention to detail—CRM hygiene and follow-ups are second nature.
- Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, thriving amidst change and high expectations.

- Experience selling financial software, ERPs, or fintech solutions.
- Prior success using sales automation/prospecting tools (Amplemarket, Salesloft, Outreach, Hub Spot).
