Join Ligentia! We’re looking for a Senior Customs Executive to join our Central Customs Team in Leeds. This Senior Customs Executive role is a supervisory position, responsible for maintaining compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth flow of goods for Ligentia's clients.
Key duties include:
- Supervising a team of Customs Executives
- Overseeing day-to-day activities
- Ensuring SLAs are met
This is a specialist role focused solely on customs operations, rather than end-to-end logistics. The role also offers opportunities to develop into customs consultancy projects.
Your Role:
- Customs Entries: Handling UK customs entries for import ocean shipments, including home use and simplified entries.
- Supervision: Overseeing a team of customs operators, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring targets are met.
- Customer Interaction: Engaging in customs consultancy, providing guidance and support to customers, and ensuring compliance.
- Technical Tasks: Managing reclaims and amendments to customs entries, and potentially getting involved in customs warehousing.
What You'll Need:
