Operational Compliance is a critical part of our business, helping us maintain the standards, controls and accreditations that support our customers, colleagues and continued growth. As an Operational Compliance Executive, you'll play a key role in supporting our AEO-F and ISO9001 frameworks, helping ensure compliance across customs, sanctions, health & safety and wider operational processes.
This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple aspects of operational compliance. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, can take ownership of their work and is keen to broaden their expertise across a range of compliance disciplines. Experience in every area isn't expected - training and support will be provided to help you develop your knowledge and skills.
- Coordinate and conduct internal compliance, customs and quality audits.
- Monitor compliance controls, identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Support Health & Safety compliance activities and local site requirements.
- Assist with organisational compliance reviews and operational insurance claims.
- Provide customs, trade and compliance guidance to operational teams.
- Support customs consultancy activities, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across the business to promote a culture of compliance.
Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, customs, compliance or a related operational environment.
Knowledge of UK Customs requirements, including CPCs and tariff classifications.
Good attention to detail and a risk-aware mindset.
Experience managing insurance claims processes.
Experience using CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems.
