We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (Product Owner) to help shape our data requirements. You will bridge the gap between complex supply chain operations and our Data Engineering team, transforming business needs into a refined technical roadmap on our Snowflake platform.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap: Own and refine the backlog, ensuring development effort always aligns with high-value business objectives.
  • Requirement Discovery: Translate supply chain complexities into clear user stories and technical requirements.
  • Collaborative Design: Facilitate solution discussions with engineers; focusing on the "why" and "what" while leveraging the team's expertise for the "how".
  • Data Validation: Use SQL to explore data, test logic, and validate solutions to ensure they solve real-world problems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the key link between leadership and the engineering squad, providing clarity on progress and blockers.

Qualifications

  • Technical Essentials
  • Cloud Data: Solid understanding of modern platforms (Snowflake preferred) and ELT processes.
  • SQL & dbt: Ability to write queries for data exploration and an understanding of modular data modelling (dbt).
  • Data Journey: Experience mapping data flow from source (APIs/ERPs) to final visualisation.
  • Domain & Methodology
    • Supply Chain: Familiarity with logistics data (shipments, inventory, customs, milestones).
    • Agile Flow: Proven experience in backlog management, user story mapping, and facilitating team ceremonies.
