We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our team at Lift Trinity. This is an exciting opportunity to help create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive after the school day.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing, and who enjoys planning creative activities that encourage confidence, independence and positive relationships. Working as part of our wider school team, you will play an important role in providing high-quality after-school care that supports both our pupils and their families.
You will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities that meet the individual developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and develop.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and creative development through a range of structured and free-play activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and supervision at all times.
- Register pupils and follow school procedures for attendance and safeguarding.
- Prepare and distribute healthy snacks while promoting good hygiene and healthy lifestyles.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers, providing feedback where appropriate.
- Liaise with the School Operations Manager regarding the planning, attendance and day-to-day running of the club.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe environment before, during and after each session.
- Promote positive behaviour and follow school policies relating to safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour and first aid.
