- Without a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification: Voluntary Real Living Wage – £18,316.55 per annum.
- With a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification: NJC Scale 3–5.

Type: Permanent, Part Time – 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year – Immediate Start.
About the role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our growing SEND department, working 8:40 am – 3:10 pm specifically to support a named child with special educational needs. You will provide tailored 1:1 support in class, as well as individualised interventions, helping to ensure the student can access learning, develop confidence and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support a named child with SEND in classroom activities and learning.
- Deliver 1:1 tailored support and interventions to aid learning.
- Assist with the development of confidence and achievement of learning goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement support plans.
- Record progress and provide feedback to the team.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). If you don’t hold this qualification, we will enrol you in our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
