Your new school, Lift Tamworth, part of Lift Schools, is an inclusive and ambitious secondary school at the heart of its local community. Your new role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join our thriving department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within a supportive and forward-thinking team committed to academic excellence and a love of literature and language. At Key Stage 3, we deliver a knowledge-rich English curriculum through the study of prose, drama, poetry, reading, and writing. Students explore themes such as morality, duality, and identity through a wide range of ambitious literary texts. At Key Stage 4, students study the AQA English Language and English Literature specifications, including Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, and the Power and Conflict poetry anthology. You will be supported to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities within a collaborative and ambitious department.

What you'll need to succeed: You will be a confident and enthusiastic Teacher of English, passionate about your subject and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will:
