A rare opportunity to shape your own team and be part of an exciting journey.
Your new school
Lift Brockworth, part of Lift Schools, an ambitious MAT made up of 59 schools, gives you access to the best training and CPD courses. It is a two‑form entry primary school on an ambitious journey to make a real difference to the lives of our children. We offer large spacious classrooms, fantastic grounds, two halls, Chromebooks and iPads for every class, an academy library, excellent curriculum resources and a technology workshop that includes a large kitchen. A supportive team of staff, underpinned by expertise across our network, helps staff realise the next steps in their careers.
Your new role
Due to the current postholder relocating, we are looking for an ambitious EYFS phase leader. You will manage one existing teacher and three capable teaching assistants and be an excellent practitioner who can lead, coach, and support others to become excellent teachers in their own right. You will set a clear and strategic vision for the key stage, ensure a stimulating and engaging curriculum for students, and implement phase‑wide strategies to help all students enjoy and excel within their learning. This is a very exciting time to join as we plan to open our own nursery in the near future, and you will play a vital role in shaping that development. Our EYFS facilities are comprehensive, with two spacious classrooms and a great outdoor learning area including our very own pond.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must be a qualified teacher with a proven track record of successfully leading staff. You should exhibit resilience, optimism, and patience in interactions with students across all situations, maintaining a calm demeanour while steering day‑to‑day challenges and keeping a clear strategic vision. Experience or a passion for nursery work is desirable and should be highlighted in your application.
We will review applications and interview ASAP. Please apply or contact us as soon as possible.
If you would like a confidential discussion or a tour of the school, please contact Jessica Billows, Recruitment Manager, at jbillows@liftschools.org.
