Your new school: Lift Ryde, based on the Isle of Wight, is an 11 to 18‑year secondary school and is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest MATs in the country. The school is set in spacious grounds and has a brand new state‑of‑the‑art building as of 2017. All staff have access to a free on‑site gym with a range of fantastic equipment. Your new role: The Administrative Assistant is a core member of the administrative team, providing efficient support essential for the smooth running of the school. Key duties include:
- managing communications with stakeholders
- maintaining records
- coordinating arrangements for events or meetings
- providing reception support
- managing academy resources and supplies
- compiling reports
- supporting other administrative staff such as the School Operations Manager on specific projects
What you'll need to succeed: Experience in a customer‑facing office environment and strong IT skills. Organizational ability, adaptability, and competent administrative skills are essential. Within a school setting, safeguarding knowledge and a passion for working with and supporting children are required.
