HR Assistant

Lift Recruitment are working with a Blue Chip client based in NN14 Kettering, and they are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join their existing team. Day to day duties will include: ·Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and support to employees and managers. ·Provide day-to-day HR advice on employee relations, absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters. ·Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including direct recruitment and agency recruitment. ·Coordinate new starter inductions and onboarding. ·Prepare and administer HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, variations and leaver documentation. ·Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems. ·Support payroll administration and provide accurate payroll information. ·Manage absence records and support managers with absence management and return-to-work processes. ·Support managers with disciplinary, grievance and other employee relations matters. ·Provide training and guidance to managers on HR processes, including Return to Work interviews. ·Support internal and external HR audits. ·Coordinate employee training and maintain training records. Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits: You will have the choice of working either 07.00 to 15.00 or 08.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday You will be paid up to £38k per annum, depending on your experience This assignment offers a full time role after a successful trial period Role requirements: · You must have strong administration skills · You must be IT literate in Word, Excel and Powerpoint · You must have excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills · You must hold CIPD level 5 or equivalent · You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an HR role · You must have experience of dealing with disciplinaries and grievances This assignment offers an immediate start.
