This is an exciting opportunity  to shape and run our music department, this can be a full time or part time role. Your new schoolLift Rawlett is part of Lift Schools, a MAT of 57 schools with 10 in the Midlands, which allows you access to the best training programmes available as well as more internal opportunities. Lift Rawlett is a secondary school led by a dedicated and ambitious Executive Principal, Jasmine Woodard. The school are on a transformational journey and Jasmine has a track record of successfully delivering this. Jasmine is now looking for ambitious staff to be part of this incredibly rewarding, yet challenging, journey and this is an opportunity for you to be part of that as we look to recruit a music teacher. Your new roleThe music department has fantastic facilities and brilliant GCSE results of 80% 5+ so it’s an exciting time for you to join. Due to an early retirement we are looking for somebody to lead, shape and deliver excellent music classes. This is a rare opportunity for you to teach in a way that you feel delivers the best education and be able to shape the way music is taught. The successful candidate will report to Christina Pirrie, Assistant Vice Principal and Head of the Curriculum Team, a long-established member of the school with extensive experience and wider whole-school responsibilities.What you’ll need to succeedYou will have a proven track record of delivering music lessons and a broad and balanced curriculum, facilitating a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will be able to design engaging lessons, assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to raise standards of student attainment.
