Lift Plumberow is looking for a Teaching Assistant (Sports Coach) to join our dedicated and friendly team. Lift Plumberow is a vibrant and high achieving three form entry primary school in the heart of Hockley, educating around 650 pupils from Reception to Year 6. About the role
As a Teaching Assistant (Sports Coach), you will play an important role in supporting pupils' physical development, wellbeing and engagement across the school. You will:
- Support the delivery of PE lessons, sports activities and enrichment opportunities
- Encourage pupils' participation, confidence and teamwork through positive sporting experiences
- Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour and inclusion
- Support pupils with SEND or additional needs to access physical activities successfully
- Help organise and support sporting events, clubs, tournaments and competitions
- Promote positive relationships and consistently apply the school's behaviour policy
- Support pupils' social, emotional and physical wellbeing
- Assist with the safe use and organisation of PE and sports equipment
