Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career? Lift North Ormesby is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant (level 3) to join our community-focused and supportive team.
Our Teaching Assistants support students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. This role will be predominantly based in EYFS; however, flexibility to go where needed in the school is required.
You're someone who'll be able to:
- Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
- Supervise classroom activities and play.
- Support small group interventions and 1:1 support.
- Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of play and outdoor learning.
- Be a compassionate, warm, and friendly face to children and parents.
You're someone who has:
- Motivation and enthusiasm.
- Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assisting or equivalent is preferred.
- EYFS experience.
- The skills to help children develop independent learning skills.
- Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
- Proactive and willing to complete CPD training.
- Phonics experience is advantageous.
