You will play an important role in helping pupils grow in confidence, build independence, and get ready for the step up to secondary school.

We are looking for someone who knows how to bring learning to life in the classroom, builds strong relationships with pupils, and has high expectations for what every child can achieve. Experience in KS2 (and ideally Year 5) is important, but just as much, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed, and genuinely enjoys working with children.

In return, you will be joining a supportive team that values collaboration, positivity, and doing the best for our pupils every day.

Lift Noel Park, part of Lift Schools, is a vibrant and inclusive academy based in North London, which opened on 1st September 2012. The school serves around 600 children aged 3 to 11. Situated in the heart of Wood Green, the school is housed in a beautiful listed Victorian building, retaining many of its original features and character. Its central location offers excellent transport links, a two-minute walk from the underground station and easy access to Crouch End, Hornsey, and Highgate.

We are a diverse and inclusive network of schools with one clear mission; to provide an excellent education to every child - in every classroom, every day. And we do this across each of our 58 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they have ever had. We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.

We offer you:

  • Career development and training: Access a wide range of statutory and developmental training to boost your career. Our partnership with One World powers our innovative Instructional Excellence Program. We also offer a comprehensive range of CPD programs, including Ambition Institute's Early Career and NPQ offerings, tailored to both individual and network needs.
  • Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we have got you covered.
  • Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships and travel deals.

The role is due to commence September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Closing date: 30 April 2026. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response. All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.
