We are looking for a Pastoral Leader to join our team and take a proactive role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance of our students. This is a vital position for someone who is passionate about helping young people thrive both personally and academically.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people and motivating them to achieve their best
- Has knowledge of Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) and experience of leading SEMH interventions
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can stay calm under pressure and manage complex situations, including behaviour incidents, with empathy and professionalism
- Has a genuine commitment to supporting students’ personal development, wellbeing and safeguarding
- Is confident working with staff, families and external agencies to support students
- Can use data or is willing to develop skills to track and improve behaviour and attendance
- Works well as part of a team and can also use their initiative to make a positive impact
