Join our team and turn challenges into change. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and resilient Deputy Year Leader to join our vibrant secondary school. This fast-paced, people-focused role is perfect for someone who is passionate about changing the life chances of young people through a high expectations approach.
As Deputy Year Leader, you will support the pastoral success of a year group which will include:
- Monitoring attendance and completing attendance home visits
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Supporting lunch and break duties
- Meeting with parents and carers
- Working with our Reflection Room
- Leading and supporting year-group detentions
What we are looking for:
Experience within a school or working with young people is not essential but would be advantageous. Your passion, commitment and tenacity matter most.
