Join our team and turn challenges into change. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and resilient Deputy Year Leader to join our vibrant secondary school. This fast-paced, people-focused role is perfect for someone who is passionate about changing the life chances of young people through a high expectations approach.
As Deputy Year Leader, you will support the pastoral success of a year group which will include:
- Monitoring attendance and completing attendance home visits
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Supporting lunch and break duties
- Meeting with parents and carers
- Working with our Reflection Room
- Leading and supporting year-group detentions
What we are looking for:
Experience within a school or working with young people is not essential but would be advantageous. Your passion, commitment and tenacity matter most. If you care deeply about supporting students and are ready to grow, we will provide strong guidance, training and day-to-day support from both the school and the Year Leader.
