Responsibilities:
- Lead on SEND provision as SENDCo, providing strategic leadership to ensure inclusive, effective provision that complies with statutory requirements and removes barriers to learning.
- Work with staff, families, external agencies, and the Resource Provision Lead to enable students with additional needs to access a broad and ambitious curriculum.
- Evaluate the impact of SEND provision to drive continuous improvement.
- Shape the school's strategic direction, leading priority areas to drive academic excellence, strengthen teaching and learning, and promote high standards of behaviour, culture, and wellbeing.
- Line manage staff across teaching and support teams, providing clear direction, challenge, and development.
- Demonstrate motivation by inclusion, high standards, and making a tangible difference to young people’s lives.
