About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that develop students' fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills. At Key Stage 3, students follow a mastery-based curriculum that develops strong foundations across number, algebra, geometry and statistics, with a focus on conceptual understanding, mathematical thinking and communication. At Key Stage 4, students build on these skills through GCSE Mathematics, developing confidence, fluency and problem-solving abilities to support success in examinations and beyond.

You will have experience delivering a broad and balanced Maths curriculum and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed. You will be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress effectively and providing high-quality feedback that raises standards and outcomes. You will be joining an experienced, collaborative and ambitious Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring all students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. The department is passionate about developing confident, resilient and analytical learners through engaging lessons, strong curriculum planning and a shared commitment to high expectations and continuous improvement.
