About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students at KS3 build strong foundations in grammar, phonics and communication skills, whilst KS4 students follow the AQA GCSE curriculum, covering a range of real-world and cultural topics including relationships, healthy living, travel, festivals, technology and the environment.

You will be joining an experienced and forward-thinking Spanish team, led by an experienced Head of Spanish and supported by a Lead Practitioner. You will be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress effectively, and providing high-quality feedback that raises standards and outcomes. You will also work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff, as well as parents, to support students' personal development, respond to individual needs, and promote a culture of inclusion, ambition, and high expectations.
