Lift Sir Herbert Leon Leisure Centre, part of Lift Schools, is looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join our team and help create a positive experience for all visitors, students, staff and community users.
About the Role
As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role as the face and voice of the leisure centre. You will warmly welcome visitors, manage enquiries, coordinate appointments and support the smooth day-to-day running of reception and administration services. This is more than an administration role; it's an opportunity to support the wellbeing of our community while contributing to Lift Schools' mission of providing an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, parents, students and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls and the main email account efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure all visitors and students are signed in and out correctly in line with safeguarding procedures.
- Coordinate appointments, meeting room bookings and deliveries.
- Support the wider administration team with clerical and administrative tasks.
- Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with first aid responsibilities following appropriate training.
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety procedures at all times.
