Cleaner

Location: Lift Firth Park, Fircroft Avenue, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S5 0SD, United Kingdom

Salary: NJC 2 £9,897 on a 12.65 per hour basis + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.)

Contract: Part time, permanent

Closing date: 4th August

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff within the school premises.
  • Clean floors, bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas on a daily basis.
  • Follow COSHH guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Work under the direction of the cleaning supervisors, both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within the agreed weekly hours.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard‑working.
  • Experience cleaning large premises, preferably school or similar environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the stated weekly working hours.
  • UK right to work; not eligible for sponsorship.
