We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and high performing Teacher of History to join Lift Clacton. This role is ideal for an excellent practitioner who is passionate about delivering engaging Humanities lessons and making a tangible impact on teaching quality, curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Working closely with colleagues within the department, you will play a key role in delivering high quality teaching and learning, promoting high expectations and supporting students to achieve strong outcomes. You will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and intervention strategies, ensuring all students are supported to succeed, particularly disadvantaged learners.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom teacher with QTS, strong subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching Humanities. You will help shape a positive departmental culture, promote high expectations for behaviour and learning, and contribute to whole school priorities around inclusion, literacy and closing the achievement gap.
