We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Sociology and Psychology (Key Stage 5) to join our thriving post-16 provision. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young minds, deliver engaging lessons, and help students achieve outstanding outcomes as they prepare for university, apprenticeships and future careers.
You will:
- Teach Sociology and Psychology at KS5
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire deep thinking
- Track progress and provide targeted support to maximise student achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
- Play an active role in our supportive sixth form and wider school community
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent subject knowledge in Sociology and/or Psychology
- Holds QTS
- Has experience teaching KS5 or a motivation for post-16 teaching
- Builds positive relationships and high expectations for all learners
- Is reflective, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement
