How you can get involved

We offer a wide range of volunteering opportunities, so there’s truly something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for an active role or something more behind-the-scenes, we’d love to hear from you! You could be:

  • Joining our young people for exciting activities like surfing, cycling at the velodrome, wild swimming on Dartmoor, or participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
  • Providing essential support by driving our minibus, helping with gardening, or assisting at events.
  • Contributing to our operations by supporting our fundraising.

About you

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it rewarding. There are lots of different ways you can get involved, maybe joining our service users on the beach surfing, pedalling around the velodrome, wild swimming on Dartmoor or perhaps getting involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award? Or if that feels a bit too energetic perhaps driving our minibus, a spot of gardening, helping out at events or supporting our fundraising. Whatever your interest we would love to hear from you.
