About the Service
Crown Lea Avenue is a peaceful, accessible bungalow supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health needs. The home features three bedrooms, a shared bathroom with hoist access, a large kitchen, living room, conservatory, and a shared garden with a patio. There is a resident cat. The service currently supports two women—one in her early 70s and one in her early 40s.
Your Role as a Support Worker
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting with daily routines such as cooking, personal care, and household tasks
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities like crafts, music, swimming, and sensory sessions
- Promoting independence and building confidence
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team
- Driving mobility vehicles to support individuals with outings and appointments
