Position details:

  • Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
  • Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)
  • Shifts: Days – 07:00–19:00, 07:00–20:00, 09:00–17:00, 07:00–16:00; Nights – 19:00–07:00
  • Driving Licence Required: Full UK Manual (essential due to location)

About the Service

Crown Lea Avenue is a peaceful, accessible bungalow supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health needs. The home features three bedrooms, a shared bathroom with hoist access, a large kitchen, living room, conservatory, and a shared garden with a patio. There is a resident cat. The service currently supports two women—one in her early 70s and one in her early 40s.

Your Role as a Support Worker

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting with daily routines such as cooking, personal care, and household tasks
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities like crafts, music, swimming, and sensory sessions
  • Promoting independence and building confidence
  • Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team
  • Driving mobility vehicles to support individuals with outings and appointments
