The Opportunity

Deputy Manager (Mental Health) Exeter

We are seeking to appoint a driven and passionate Deputy Manager to help support our established service in Exeter (Acorn Court). Acorn Court is a development of 16 high quality, self-contained apartments in Exeter that provides accommodation and 24 hour support for people with complex mental health needs. Person-centred recovery support is provided by our core on-site team of Recovery Support Workers, with additional support from our Quality and Practice Team.

The main aim of this role is to provide effective, outcome based, community recovery for people with complex mental health needs. To regularly monitor, evaluate and develop the service, making sure systems are in place to ensure that the feedback and involvement of service users, their families, partner agencies and staff are fully incorporated.

What You’ll Bring

  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong experience in operational and people management
  • A valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
  • A genuine passion for quality care — and the ability to lead by example
