Your Role as a Team Leader

Responsibilities

  • Lead, advise and motivate a team of Support Workers.
  • Support the Service Manager in delivering excellent services.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory standards.
  • Conduct supervisions, team meetings and staff development.
  • Participate in the 24‑hour on‑call rotational system.
  • Promote person‑centred approaches and positive outcomes for the people we support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Have relevant experience in the care sector.
  • Have previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Possess strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Be flexible and committed to delivering high‑quality care.
