At Lifeways, we support people with learning disabilities and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives. Right now, we're looking for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly team in Swindon.

Meet the People You'll Be Supporting
You’ll be supporting two gentlemen and one lady with learning disabilities and epilepsy to live independently, pursue their interests, and enjoy day-to-day life.
Together, you’ll enjoy activities such as:
- Swimming
- Shopping trips
- Zumba classes
- Ice skating (although skating skills are not required, professional support is available)
No two days are the same. One day you may be helping someone attend a local activity, and the next you could be supporting them to develop new life skills, meet friends, or achieve a personal goal.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll help people with:
- Daily living skills
- Building confidence and independence
- Accessing community activities and events
- Managing appointments and routines
- Developing hobbies and interests
- Living the life they choose
Most importantly, you’ll be providing encouragement, companionship, and support that helps people thrive.
Working Hours
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift patterns include:
- 07:00 - 14:30
- 14:30 - 22:00
- 07:00 - 22:00
- 10:00 - 21:00
You will need to be flexible and able to work every other weekend.
Driving Requirement
As part of this role, you’ll support people to access activities and appointments within the local community. Therefore, you must:
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be willing to drive company vehicles
