About the Service
Church View Apartments provides a welcoming and supportive environment where people can enjoy both independence and a strong sense of community. The service consists of:
- 12 self-contained apartments, each with a bedroom, open-plan kitchen/lounge, and wet room bathroom
- Accessible ground-floor apartments with patio access to communal gardens
- 12 accessible bungalows with private living spaces and shared garden access
- Level access throughout and lift access to upper floors
The Role
As a Support Worker, you'll help people with complex needs live fulfilling, independent lives both at home and in the local community. No two days are the same. You could be:
- Supporting people to access the community
- Going swimming, shopping, or for coffee
- Attending clubs, social activities, and day trips
- Visiting cinemas, attractions, and local events
- Encouraging independence and building confidence
You'll also support with daily living tasks such as:
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Laundry and household chores
- Shopping and budgeting
- Personal care where required, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting assistance
