This is a full-time position, with shifts typically between 8:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

About Hallfield House

Hallfield House is a beautifully converted building offering seven spacious supported-living apartments, including one wheelchair-accessible home. Each apartment provides an open-plan kitchen and living area, bedroom, and en-suite bathroom, with white goods included, and assistive technology tailored to individual needs. The service promotes independence while offering the reassurance of support on hand. People benefit from a balance of private space and community living, with a peaceful outdoor area and on-site parking for seven cars. Hallfield House is ideally placed close to Stockport town centre, within easy reach of shops, restaurants, pubs, banks, libraries and post offices. The nearby Stockport train station provides regular connections to Manchester and beyond.

People supported at Hallfield House enjoy a vibrant local community, including access to a wide range of social activities, groups and hubs for individuals with learning disabilities — fostering confidence, skills and meaningful connections. Hallfield House welcomes people of any age or gender with learning disabilities or autism who would benefit from modern, flexible, independence-building support. Your Role

  • As a Support Worker, you'll ensure individuals lead meaningful, valued lives — helping them reach their potential and supporting them to achieve to the best of their ability.
  • Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
  • Encourage independence and promote wellbeing.
  • Support individuals with hobbies, community participation and daily routines.
  • Assist with life skills such as cooking, money management and social interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow personalised care plans.

Shift Details

This is a full-time role with 37.5 contracted hours per week, with shifts available between 8:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday. Rotational shifts: Days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support.
