Abbey Lodge provides 11 high‑quality, self-contained apartments and offers 24‑hour specialist mental health support, helping people on their recovery journey to live independently within their own home. At Abbey Lodge, we support people living with a range of mental health needs, promoting rehabilitation, recovery, increased responsibility, social inclusion, and long‑term wellbeing.

Shift Pattern Hours: Full-time – (days, evenings, sleep‑ins, weekends). We also offer sessional/bank hours, providing flexibility. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support. Rotational shifts: days, evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins.

Location: Primarily at Abbey Lodge, with potential opportunities across nearby Lifeways schemes.

What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll provide person‑centred, recovery‑focused support, helping individuals to:

  • Build confidence
  • Develop daily living skills
  • Increase independence
  • Engage in meaningful activities in the community

What We’re Looking For: We welcome applicants who:

About Abbey Lodge: Abbey Lodge is a new, purpose‑built development consisting of 11 self‑contained one‑bedroom apartments, each with:

  • A private bathroom with shower
  • Some apartments featuring en‑suite facilities
  • Large shared gardens at the front and back
  • Car parking spaces to the rear

Located in the heart of Fleetwood, a Victorian seaside town, the service is close to:

  • Shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and a traditional market
  • The promenade, Marine Hall, Memorial Park, the local museum, and Affinity Outlet Shopping Centre
  • Aldi (very close), with Asda and additional shops a little further away
  • Excellent transport links via nearby bus routes and train stations in Blackpool
