Support Worker – Crown Lea Avenue, Malvern

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Part Time - 24 hours per week (2 x 12 hour shifts per week)

Shifts: Days – 07:00–19:00, Nights – 19:00–07:00

Driving Licence Required: Full UK Manual (essential due to location)

Your Role as a Support Worker

  • Supporting with daily routines such as cooking, personal care, and household tasks
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities like crafts, music, swimming, and sensory sessions
  • Promoting independence and building confidence
  • Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team
  • Driving mobility vehicles to support individuals with outings and appointments

Crown Lea Avenue is a peaceful, accessible bungalow supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health needs. The home features three bedrooms, a shared bathroom with hoist access, a large kitchen, living room, conservatory, and a beautiful shared garden with a patio and BBQ area. There's even a resident cat. Currently, the service supports two women—one in her early 70s who enjoys shopping, cooking, puzzles, and church, and another in her early 40s who prefers a quiet atmosphere and sensory activities.
