Location: Jarrow

Pay: £14.75 per hour + £72.90 per sleep

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver person-centred, empowering care
  • Support individuals with daily living, hobbies, and community activities
  • Help people achieve personal goals—whether that’s work, social events, or new experiences
  • Build meaningful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Administer medication, maintain records, and use modern digital systems

You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive, close-knit team—ensuring every individual receives consistent, high-quality care.

About the Service

You’ll support individuals with:

  • Learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Complex health needs (including epilepsy, dysphagia, mobility challenges)
  • Communication and sensory needs

Each person lives in their own self-contained bungalow, with tailored support (1:1 or 2:1 where required), plus a dedicated night team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar care role
  • A positive, resilient, and patient attitude
  • A genuine passion for supporting people with complex needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Confidence using basic IT systems (full training provided)
