Join Lifeways Group as our next Solicitor! Are you a qualified Solicitor looking to bring your commercial or property law expertise into a purpose-driven organisation? At Lifeways Group, we are seeking a dynamic and solutions-focused Solicitor to join our in-house Legal Team and support the delivery of vital services across the UK. You’ll work closely with the Head of Legal to provide timely, high-quality legal advice that supports the commercial success of the business, minimises risk, and ensures compliance across our property and commercial operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of agreements including service level agreements, leases, licences, commercial contracts, and data sharing agreements.
- Providing advice on contractual claims, disputes and working with external counsel as needed.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, business growth and contract mobilisations.
- Identifying legal risks and helping to shape policies and procedures that mitigate these risks.
- Assisting with the development of a centralised contract management system.
What We’re Looking For
- UK or Common Law qualified solicitor with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Solid grounding in property/real estate and/or commercial law.
- Excellent organisational, drafting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Team player with strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in Health & Social Care or Social Housing.
- Familiarity with supported living sector contracts.
