Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Lifeways is offering an exciting opportunity to become a Team Leader at Copperfield Close, a welcoming supported living service in Clitheroe, Lancashire. You’ll work alongside our Service Manager to lead a dedicated team, delivering life-enhancing support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Your Role as a Leader Who Inspires
- Lead and motivate Support Workers to deliver high-quality, consistent support
- Promote independence and wellbeing in every aspect of care
- Support individuals with daily living, appointments, hobbies, and community engagement
- Maintain accurate records and ensure personalised support plans are followed
- Conduct staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development
- Communicate effectively with staff, people we support, families, and external professionals
About Copperfield Close
Copperfield Close is a modern, semi-detached house with four bedrooms, including an en-suite attic room. The home features a shared kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, and a lovely back garden. It’s located in a peaceful residential area near Clitheroe town centre, with excellent access to shops, cafes, public transport, and the stunning Forest of Bowland. The service currently supports three sociable young men who enjoy cooking, day trips, sport, music, and bingo. We’re ready to welcome another individual who values independence and a friendly, engaging environment.
