Greenlands View is a modern, spacious residential service designed to support people to live as independently as possible in a safe and comfortable environment.
Located in the peaceful residential area of Bartley Green, Greenlands View offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and community connection.
The people we support enjoy:
- Walks in nearby Woodgate Valley Country Park
- Swimming and fitness activities at Northfield Pool and Fitness Centre
- Shopping trips to Harborne, Northfield, Halesowen, Merry Hill and the Bullring
- Cinema visits, museums, theatres and local community events throughout Birmingham
We support adults aged 18-40 to build confidence, develop life skills and pursue their personal goals and interests.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Care Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care while helping your team thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Support Workers
- Providing coaching, supervision and guidance to colleagues
- Conducting interviews, supervisions and development discussions
- Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes
- Building strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external partners
- Ensuring care documentation is accurate and completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe, positive and empowering environment
- Championing Lifeways values and best practice every day
Shift Patterns
Flexibility is essential as shifts are worked according to the needs of the service.
Typical shifts include:
- Early: 7:30am - 2:30pm
- Late: 2:30pm - 9:30pm
- Long Day: 7:30am - 9:30pm
- Night: 9:30pm - 7:30am
Occasional short-notice cover may be required.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting others to succeed.
You may already be a:
- Care Team Leader
- Senior Support Worker
- Experienced Support Worker ready for your next challenge
Essential:
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A positive and proactive approach
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care
Desirable:
- NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience leading, mentoring or supervising staff
- Confidence in managing documentation and care records
Most importantly, you'll believe in empowering people to achieve their goals, make their own choices and live fulfilling lives.
