Overview
We’re launching a new English pub inside the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Malta (opening in 2026) and are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the project with a focus on hospitality excellence and team leadership.
Location: Malta (Hard Rock Hotel Malta project). This is a leadership role responsible for building the venue from scratch and shaping its identity and guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the launch and set the tone from pre-opening to daily operations.
- Run the show: manage the team, shifts, suppliers, service, and quality.
- Recruit, train, and inspire a crew that shares your standards and energy.
- Collaborate with branding and marketing to establish the venue locally.
- Track performance metrics, optimize processes, reduce waste, and maintain smooth operations.
- Be the heartbeat of the place, overseeing operations and culture.
Qualifications
- Experience on the floor in busy pubs, buzzing bars, or contemporary restaurants.
- Ability to think fast, act smart, and lead with confidence.
- Strong operations skills: team, costs, service, suppliers.
- Clear, calm leadership by example.
- Solid English language skills (additional languages are a bonus).
- Detail-oriented, focused on vibe, and making guests feel at home.
