Your Day to Day
As an IT Support Field Engineer, you’ll spend your days visiting a variety of customers, forging strong relationships and providing all the IT expertise they need. This will range from desktop and server installations and IT management to system design, deployment and maintenance, ensuring there’s never a dull day!
These small and medium sized businesses come from as many different business sectors as you can imagine and have anything from one to over one hundred employees. Working alongside a highly skilled and like-minded team, you’ll form bonds with those in different areas of the business and gain valuable experience with our leading company. You will have one to two appointments per day which will be scheduled in advance.
What are we looking for?
You must have experience in some of the following areas:
- Microsoft Desktop (10/11) Operating Systems
- Apple Mac Operating Systems
- Administration of Microsoft Active Directory
- Administration of Windows Server Operating system
- Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016 and/or 2019
- Administration of Office 365 (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint Online)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Virtual Technology (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Networking (SonicWALL Firewalls, Cisco Switches and/or HP Switches)
- Experience in supporting and/or installing Wi-Fi
- Experience of any Point of Sale (POS) systems in retail environment
