The Team
As part of the Global Medical Affairs department, you will report directly into the Senior Global Medical Director and will collaboratively work to engage with wider internal teams such as the Global Medical TA team providing key insight and perspectives, Global Medical Operations tracking and analysing enquires, Global cross-functional TA team abiding by regulatory affairs / safety, and Vendors looking at the medical communications.
Role and Responsibilities
There are 3 key areas you will be responsible for but not limited to;
External Engagement
- Continue to extend key external expert network in the pain therapy area
- Proactively identify patient centric initiatives and collaborative projects
- Project manage all investigator initiated studies in pain therapy area globally
- Represent Mundipharma at relevant scientific conferences
Therapeutic Area Medical Leadership
- Support implementation and execution of the global medical affairs plan for pain management in line with the company direction and strategy
- Provide support, including project management, of all pain-related activities and materials globally to ensure the responsible and appropriate medical use of Mundipharma’s pain portfolio in line with the company’s Charter and guidance
- Primary point of contact for medical information enquiries, and ensuring these are handled in a timely manner in accordance with applicable regulations
Processes
- Provide project management and track all pain-related activities and materials globally in accordance with the PMAP process
- Work closely with global therapy area team, cluster and country medical teams to support global and local pain initiatives
- Follow medical, scientific and clinical developments within the pain therapeutic area and disseminate new information globally as needed
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other global functions to ensure medical deliverables are captured and addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Ensure all cross-functional activities and materials are strategically aligned with company values and direction and are conducted / produced to the highest ethical standards and in line with company’s charter and guidance
- Represent global medical
What you’ll bring
- Qualified/Certified Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, or Bachelor of Science with either MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc or BSc
- Medical Affairs experience as an MSL or Medical Manager at local, country or regional level
- Experience in Pain TA in clinical practice and/or in industry (desirable)
- TA experience at a Global or Regional level (desirable)
- Fluent in English (Both written and speaking)
- Project Management and Organisational skills
- IT skills
