This position is part of the commercial sales team located in Europe and will be fully remote responsible for the UK and Ireland territory. You will be a part of the Cell and Gene Therapy Sales Team, reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA responsible for identifying, developing, managing and retaining revenue-generating opportunities for the organisation through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Identify, prospect and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma, academic and government organizations in the assigned territory, consistently meeting or exceeding, quarterly and yearly key performance metrics and goals
- Manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM system and utilize the CRM tool to routinely provide accurate and up to date forecasts, delivering visibility to new revenue opportunities, projecting revenue recognition for the quarter and year
- Understand the clients’ visions, strategies, and organizational structure and communicate their feedback to Product Management and Operations regarding new service opportunities and updates to current products, service and processes that will improve the client experience
- Deliver presentations to clients on our complete offering at the highest levels within the clients\’ organization
- Develop territory and business development plans, adjusting sales strategies and tactical execution plans in order to better generate revenue growth in the assigned territory
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BSc Biotechnology, Cell biology, Immunology or other relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years client-facing sales experience in the cell and gene therapy industry
- Broad technical understanding in the field of molecular and cell biology, with a clear understanding of biotherapeutics, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vector technologies, CAR-T, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in developing territory and business development plans which serve to expand the business and generate incremental revenue with new clients
- Ready and prepared to travel across the geographical area of responsibility to visit current and potential customers, to USA for yearly meetings and trainings when necessary
- Fluent English language skills mandatory
