The Warehouse & Facilities Assistant supports the Property Management team in maintaining clean, safe, and well-functioning facilities, while also assisting with warehouse operations that support community outreach initiatives, including Mobile Mission. This role provides hands-on experience in building maintenance, logistics, inventory management, and working with community partners. The successful candidate will contribute to creating welcoming spaces and ensuring resources are efficiently prepared and distributed.

- Basic maintenance or construction experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building Maintenance & Landscaping (30%): Perform general cleaning and sanitization of rooms, windows, and washrooms; Empty recycling and garbage receptacles; Assist with basic maintenance projects (e.g., painting, minor repairs); Support landscaping tasks (e.g., maintaining flowerbeds and parking areas); Set up rooms, move and assemble furniture for events and programs; Assist with opening/closing and securing the building as required.
- Warehouse Operations & Mobile Mission (70%): Sort and organize incoming inventory and product shipments; Prepare and distribute items for community partners (e.g., food banks, charities, non-profits); Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment; Assist with inventory tracking and stock organization; Support loading and unloading of materials; Prepare and load products for the Mobile Mission (mobile food bank); Interact with community partners during pickups and deliveries in a professional manner.
