The Role: We are looking for a high-performing Product Manager to join our growing team and drive the evolution of our platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and world-class software, ensuring our federated solutions solve the most pressing challenges for clinicians and researchers.

Lifebit specializes in managing the world’s most sensitive genomics data. We need a PM who thrives in an Agile environment, possesses a deep technical intuition, and can translate high-level business goals into a concrete, impactful product roadmap.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • AI-Powered Platform Development: Lead the design and delivery of AI capabilities within a chat-based product interface, building agentic solutions that leverage tools, skills, agents, and diverse data sources to create a comprehensive agentic platform for users and researchers.
  • Data Architecture & Integration: Drive the strategy for data modeling, transformation, and standardization across the platform. Own the data ingestion pipeline and ensure seamless connectivity that makes data AI-ready and optimized for advanced analytics.
  • Agile Product Leadership: Drive the full product lifecycle within an Agile framework, leading cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality features in continuous cycles.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Own and plan your product area’s roadmap, moving beyond feature lists to focus on outcome-based goals that align with Series B scaling targets.
  • User Analytics & Design: Lead the integration of advanced user analytics and partner with Design and User Research teams to create intuitive interfaces for complex scientific workflows.
  • Stakeholder & KPI Management: Measure, track, and report on product KPIs to internal and external stakeholders, providing data-driven rationale for product pivots and investments.
  • Infrastructure & Tools: Utilise Jira and Confluence as the 'source of truth' for technical specifications, ensuring seamless communication across Engineering and Product teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with Legal and Clinical teams to ensure all product features comply with UK-specific data residency requirements, GDPR, and international health data standards (ISO/IG).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product management specifically within an Agile team.
  • AI Ownership: 2+ years of demonstrated work experience with agentic products.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience owning and executing complex product roadmaps from inception to launch.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of Jira and Confluence; ability to hold technical discussions with engineers regarding API architecture and data schemas.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong experience with design-thinking principles and utilizing user analytics to drive iteration.
  • Growth Mindset: Experience working in a high-growth Series B startup environment, demonstrating the ability to build scalable processes while remaining adaptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Biotech Acumen: Experience in genetics, medical sciences, or Bioinformatics is a significant plus, but a passion for the field is essential.
