About the role: We're seeking an enthusiastic and organised Transformation Manager skilled in change management to support LifeArc as it looks to transform to deliver on its new strategic plan. This is a brand-new role as the organisation continues to evolve through a number of strategic, operational, and infrastructure programmes. You'll play an important role in helping colleagues understand, embrace, and adapt to change. Working alongside senior leaders, project managers, and stakeholders across the business, you'll help deliver change plans, communications, engagement activities, and training to support successful programme outcomes. You'll also help build change management capability across LifeArc by developing practical tools, sharing best practice, and supporting leaders to embed change into everyday ways of working. This role would suit someone with existing change management experience who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Strategy and delivery: Support the delivery of organisational change across key strategic, operational, and infrastructure programmes by assessing change needs, developing and implementing change plans, coordinating governance and stakeholder activity, and ensuring change initiatives are aligned, manageable, and effectively embedded across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder leadership and engagement: Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across LifeArc, providing guidance, tools, and engagement activities to support successful change and adoption.
  • Change insights and measurement: Use data, feedback, and employee insights to measure the impact of change initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and support successful adoption across the organisation.
  • Change communications and capability: Develop clear communications, training, and practical tools to help colleagues understand, adopt, and embed change, while building change management capability across LifeArc.
  • Risk, fatigue and resilience management: Identify and help manage change risks, readiness, and capacity challenges, ensuring change is introduced in a sustainable way that minimises disruption and supports colleague wellbeing.

Essential experience required:

  • Proven experience in change management within a similar organisational environment (life sciences/healthcare preferred).
  • Formal training or certification in Prosci or another recognised change methodology.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale organisational change across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Experience driving and recently delivering hands-on change projects.
  • Extensive experience of designing and chairing/facilitating senior stakeholder meetings and workshops.
  • Ensuring adherence to organisational policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experience reporting to senior executive and Board and being able to distil complex information into compelling proposals.
  • Experience supporting strategy implementation / operating model change / transformation programmes.
  • Experience in matrix organisations and/or science, health, charity, or purpose-led environments.
  • Experience with office moves, infrastructure programmes, or complex change impacting ways of working.
  • Previous experience gained in a consulting environment would be beneficial.

Education: Further vocational qualifications required / desired (Prosci or other)

  • Influencing and coaching skills, with the ability to support leaders and stakeholders to adopt new ways of working.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, balancing competing demands while maintaining a positive and collaborative approach.
