- Leadership over the development of core application experiences that increase the utility and emotional resonance of Life360 for millions of members.
- Interest in leading scrum meetings, helping EM & PM with roadmap planning, and writing code alongside other Android engineers.
- Collaborate with Design and Product to evolve how members move through and experience the app, from onboarding to daily use, ensuring fast, intuitive, and delightful interaction patterns.
- Design and develop reusable, highâperformance components and tools that unlock faster experimentation, iteration, and crossâteam collaboration.
- Champion engineering excellence, app performance, quality, and reliability, particularly in the context of complex, global, location and safetyâfocused mobile applications.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience building consumerâfacing Android applications at scale, ideally for highâMAU products.

- Strong understanding of app architecture, lifecycle management, dependency injection, and navigation paradigms.
- Test automation experience using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- History of driving fast pace projects to completion on time.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related technical field â or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Experience:
- Supporting growth experimentation initiatives.
- Experience with Google billing and subscription system.
- AIâpowered developer productivity tools experience (beyond ChatGPT).
